LIFE AFTER DEATH –
IV When we get back to the material world, we receive new physical, astral and mental bodies. We need to learn how to use these
new bodies again, beginning with learning who to walk, up to how to think,
although previous basic experiences are not lost. However, we are induced to
completely forget all out past lives, which is good so that we do not have to
drag along past lives unpleasant memories. Those who now more than us, and
guide humanity and all life on this sphere, believe we may have a chance to
better evolve in this rougher world than on the more ethereal ones. Therefore, we must take good
advantage of our brief live here, and consider ourselves lucky for having
found the Initiatic Path, which is like a beacon shining in the darkness that
involves this world, and we should stop complaining about the woes and
problems existing in this dimension – it will not take long. All Masters promised the who
educate his mind (thoughts) and heart (emotions) may live forever in the
elevated regions. Try to live in accordance to the
Divine Laws – it might be hard in the beginning, but at the end the prize
will be great. And when we get used to it, it
will be like it is part of us: it will be natural and offhand – we shall be
divine beings. Those who are lucky enough to
study these messages and likewise guidance, will not suffer an unpleasant
shock when going through the unavoidable death; their passage from this plane to a higher one, shall come to be
with tranquility, contentment and consciousness of what is going on. Prior to 1970 decade the life
after death theory was practically a dogma. Since everything one knew about
the survival of the soul after death happened through occultists and
clairvoyants, who, in spite of being serious men were not properly accepted
by the non initiated ones. Fortunately in that decade Dr.
Raymond . Moody Jr. opened the death mysteries door a little wider. In his book “Life After Life” he collected tens of reports of people who
after dieing, generally on a hospital operating table, came back to life. These persons, in their majority,
simple and without any strong religious feeling, reported strange facts they
experienced while clinically dead. Clinical death occurs when the heart
stops throbbing and the brain ceases to issue brain waves. Although Dr. Moody was not the
only to carry out such researches, he was the one who attained greater
success and popularity, helping millions shun death fear a little. Gathering the statements of
several persons, a possible fact sequence that may occur after death was
figured out, although the interviewed persons had only gone through some of
these facts or phases. When a person begin dieing an unpleasant noise is generally
heard which, depending on the persons, can be a high pitched sound, a door
buzzer, a rumble, music, etc. The subsequent sensation is that
one moving rapidly inside a tunnel or dark and lengthy space. Soon after this, one perceives he
separated from his or her body, one can see doctors, nurses and family
members around his or her body, although the deceased does not quite
understand this new situation they find themselves in. There is an attempt to call the
attention or even hold those present, but they do not seem aware of the
deceased presence. The deceased finds out his body is
now invisible to the incarnated persons, and that can go through the bodies
of other persons. This new body is weightless and
one has the sensation it is floating in the air; the deceased notices he is above these present in the enclosed
place, almost touching the ceiling with his head. Those who have gone through
physical death and back, said they felt theirs was a different body from that
of the human being, although they find it difficult to describe it, perhaps
for being more interested in what was going on around them. The description of the new body
varies: an energy ball, a cloud, something transparent, a wisp of smoke, etc. According to the statement of a
man who had lost a leg during his almost death, felt his spiritual body whole
with all its members. During a few moments in this
spiritual body the person feels a great detachment and lonesomeness
sensation, for they want to get in touch with their physical friends, but
nobody can see or hear them. However, soon relatives and friend
already deceased, as well as “spiritual helpers” show up to guide them. This spiritual body mind is much
clearer, one has the feeling that it is possible to assimilate everything
easily and quickly. In this state of being one feel as
if all the Universe knowledge is at his disposition. Most of them feel as if they could see and
be in any place of the world. However, upon returning from what
one might call death, nobody got discouraged in face of the difficulties of
acquiring knowledge in this world, but they should go on delving deeper in
the search of new knowledge and the development of new faculties. Many of the resuscitated ones
reported they were surrounded by relatives and acquaintances who had already
died. There were there to help them,
protect them and guide them during their transition period, welcoming their
arrival at those regions. Others noticed the presence of
guardians and spiritual helpers who were there to guide them. The most wonderful moment as one
crosses the border between life and death – a crossing we al have to go
through – is the encounter with the Being of Light. Many of them saw a light
approaching ever more intense, but such light did not daze or hurt the
eyesight, and although they could not distinguish anybody’s feature, they
perceived they were facing a higher level Being. In the presence of this luminous
Being, they felt involved by as immense
love and compassion coming from this Being, who made them feel loved
and protected. It was someone they always liked
to have by their side. The Being of Light asked questions
such: “How much have you truly
loved”? “What have you done with your
life”? The questions were not asked with a view to criticize or condemn, but with the purpose to make the person think about his existence on Earth, for that being is the essence of love and compassion. The communication between the
person and the Being of Light is not effected through the voice, it is rather
a mental communication. The most religious ones thought
the Being of Light was Jesus (“I am the light of this world”), or even an
angel. The Being of Light knows about our
lives and the answers to the questions he does, but he wishes by means of
questions to make us to ponder about the way we live in this world. In spite of being a much high
Being, he shows himself completely accessible, and even has sense of humor. Just after the answers of the
Being of Light, the persons starts seeing all his own passed life by means of
very quick and full of life images. It all happens very quickly as if
in a dream in which acts that would take hours take only a few seconds. This revision stats in an orderly
sequence, from the childhood: the
persons remembers the toy be received in a Christmas gift, of him playing
with his little brothers, of his first teacher and his school friends, the
good or bad relationship with his friends in youth, all is revised till the
moment o the death. This revision is not unpleasant or
followed with a sentiment of repent, since of Being of Light makes us feel
that, even in the moments in which we were selfish we learned something. It seems to have a barrier between
this and the other side, and each one who passed by the experience of
almost-death, noticed it in a different manner: a river, a fence, a door, etc. This barrier must be crossed so that we may reach the other
side. Some went farther and noticed a
wonderful place full of colors and light.
They had the feeling to be in a city of light, with trees, rivers,
fields, houses and persons. The
people there there were happy and all in that place was just beautiful. In spite of the other side being
described as place full of light and joy we do not hasten our move to there. Those who succeed in knowing the
Other Side were invaded by a sensation of peace and happiness, and hey
themselves did not wanted to return to Earth anymore. However, some feel the duty to
continue to help their children and spouse, and when the Being of Light,
allows them, they return, but with grief to leave those regions. In some cases, when the request to
return is not a selfish one, or when the Being of Light decides that the
person’s mission here is not concluded yet, the person returns, but always
will keep the hope to someday go back there. The persons who experienced as
almost-death, in a hospital table, or even in a bed in his home, become more
conscious of the deepest problems of life. To begin to feel a stronger desire
to do something for other people, to be good and tolerant with other people’s
mistakes. Are you ready to meet the Being of
Light? He will want to know: How much did you give of your love? What have you done with your life?
