LIFE AFTER DEATH –
III The extreme stingy person sometimes stays around his properties,
horrified with the spending that is being done with his riches. Others try to take revenge from an
enemy. Even some smokers and alcoholics
have been seen trying to get a glass of drink or smelling he smoke of
cigarettes in bars and similar places. However these last cases are
passing things and hey soon find he way to happy and tranquil places. The cases of “souls attached to
Earth” are each time more rare with the evolution of mankind: they are so
rare as those who are born mentally weak, they are exceptions. The life of these addicted remind
us of the Sisifo legend, who, after death, in hell, was condemned to push
endlessly an enormous stone to the top of a mountain, that rolled down again
upon reaching the top. The very strong emotions such as
hate, strong love, not-accomplished duties, regrets, make the person come
back to the physical world, for moments only, even though it does not mean
that the deceased ones are by our side all the time. After a certain time, the Real
Being leaves the astral body, because this body is also provisory and
vanishes after the second death. The deceased ones do not like to
be remembered sorrow, but wish and need that their relatives and friends
remember them with joy, as if they were living in another country, very
distant, but well in life. If the relatives accept the
separation like a natural fact, that is also transitory, wishing that their
deceased ones live happily and not worrying with the problems of those who
are still here, it shall be much better for both parties. The persons like that their
birthday is remembered – the same happens with the deceased ones. The irradiations of thoughts to
love, happiness and progress for deceased ay be done at any time, but mainly
in the anniversary of their death (date of birth in spiritual world) and in
the All Souls’ day. In the same way the physical world
is progressing quickly, the invisible world also is, and the future of the
communication between the two worlds may be compared with a road that is
being constructed in its two extremities:
they will soon join. It is a bridge that is being constructed joining two worlds, with the deceased ones, because it is not easy and most of the mediums use tricks due to difficulties for the mediunity to happen anywhere and any time; besides that, there is the danger of the obsession of a delayed spirit of the astral world. From time to time make a funereal ritual: use flowers, prayers, candle, incense (or even food if you are oriental); the ritual eases the mental and emotional action bettering the contact with the distant ones. The following story, that w hear quite frequently among the materialists, is a contradiction: two friends agree that the first one to die would come back to tell how is life after death. If the friends returns, how would the other know? Now that he is a spirit, completely invisible to the common vision, not clairvoyant? We are using the term deceased in the sense of those who are living in the Astral, and not the living persons who ceased to exist. In fact the deceased ones feel more alive than in he times when they used to carry the heavy and awkward body. It would be very useful if we could get used not to be attached too much to other persons, because life is a trip, a passage. The Universe is infinite and we cannot be attached to a simple atom of this space/time. The same applies to detachment to things, since when we leave to go to beyond, we will have to leave our house, furniture and all the objects that we have – in order to start a new life. Those who died in accidents, murders or suffer a sudden a unexpected death, do not realize at once that they are dead, but the spiritual helpers, similar to our nurses, act promptly as a first-aid ambulance and run to help those souls. Nobody needs to be afraid to stay lost in the empty spaces: the Astral is life! Those who go through long illness, whose death is expected, even before they die, in coma state, succeed in seeing the relatives who had gone first, and also friends they did not remember anymore, because they had passed quickly through their lives – sometimes we have friends who like us and that we do not notice. They come to help us in the birth of a new “child” in the Astral, a world full of light. For us death is sorrow, but for them it is joy and a big fest. The return to Earth not always is imposed by a Superior Being, since the spirit itself judges that it will be necessary some more lessons here. In other, unsatisfied desires, as like something else that will give them fame and riches, desire to be near some other soul they like and is about do reincarnate, etc. It does not matter if it is an egocentric desire or a high one, as of those who reincarnate to help mankind, the slower brothers who stayed behind – since it is also a desire. Besides that, the souls after a while returns to the force of the youth and wishes start it all over again. The one who lived 60 years here hardly can imagine that someone may want to return. But, if in live it were not due to a non-correspondent love or the financial situation or if …and so on, it would be worth while. And many souls notice that they must leave the peaceful life in the Astral to again face the difficulties of this world – they are not yet prepared to stay longer in the Astral. They are like the mountain climbers who prefer to leave the comfort of their home to face danger and cold in the mountains: they know that the challenge and adventure will lead them to perfection and evolution. Many persons prefer a life of wines, feasts and sex, while others prefer intellectual activities (fine music, abstract sciences, mystical meditation, etc). This explains why some people prefer the life in this material world, instead of the superior regions – it would be boring for them. By the time of rebirth in Earth, the superior conscience of the soul is the one that chooses the place and the conditions more suitable to its development. This decision is similar to the young man that chooses the profession he will have: medicine, engineering, arts, etc. It will determinate all his life style. We return to Earth because we cannot obtain in the short 70 years of existence, all the experience that earthly life can grant us. So, in an existence we are musicians or scientists, in others workers, soldiers, priests or house-wives. As we have said before, upon getting at the other side we meet our relatives, acquaintances and friends long deceased, even those childhood or work colleagues whom we saw no more but felt strongly attracted to in the past. Meeting those again, who have already gone over to the other side of life, means a cheerful hope for the ones who practically, at the end of their lives, have already lost all their friends and relatives. But what if upon getting there we find out they have returned to this physical world? Although there are exceptions, the most common and probable fact is that all of them are still on the other side of that which we call life, since the period of time we remain “dead”, that is, the interval between one incarnation and the other is 250 years. The researchers arrived at this number computing the average number of years which persons who were hypnotized remembered their past lives, quoting dates in which they were alive and the periods of time where there was a “blank”, a time interval devoid of remembrances, that is, the length of time during which they had been dead.
